Astroid comes from the Greek word for star. The ‘Astroid’ Table Lamp is named for the star shape on each face. The materials are reminiscent of traditional Japanese lamps, but the star shape is unique to this design.

The lamp is constructed from steam bent white oak forming a cubed frame. It uses Japanese Shoji paper, made from natural tree and shrub pulp. The lamp provides a diffuse light and accommodates an E-12 bulb. It stands on a solid white oak base that can be removed for cleaning and bulb changing.
